Meet and Greet Brings Montgomery Leaders to Campus

Dec 1, 2010

A recent "meet and greet" at the campus of Virginia College in Montgomery brought together community leaders, public officials, and businesspeople.

Included among the nearly 300 guests was Greg Calhoun, head of Operation PUSH Montgomery, along with representatives from the county commission, local churches, educational community, and Montgomery media outlets.

Tom Moore, CEO of Education Corporation of America (ECA), served as host for the event, along with Chris Ducote, Campus President for Virginia College in Montgomery.

"This is a great opportunity for business, education, and church leaders to meet our outstanding faculty and staff," said Moore. "It also gives them a first-hand look at the impact our college is making in the community."
