Virginia College in Macon Welcomes Community at Open House

Virginia College in Macon welcomed visitors at a recent open house and ribbon cutting to showcase its classrooms, labs, medical and cosmetology areas.
"We are excited to showcase our new campus and career center," said David Murray, Campus President of Virginia College in Macon. "We teach our students how to succeed and make a difference in our community. The Macon area will truly benefit from our well-trained graduates."
One of the newest in the Virginia College system, the Macon campus initiated classes in October.
The renovation of the campus building and facilities represents an investment of $5 million. The school expects to enroll 1,200 students at capacity, with 600 students graduating each year. The school will also employ between 100 and 135 people.
Virginia College in Macon offers career programs including healthcare reimbursement, medical assisting, medical billing and coding, medical office management, pharmacy technician, surgical technology, cosmetology, administrative office management, and more.
