GAA graduate Eggert profiled in newspaper article

Jan 4, 2011

The Times Herald of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan recently profiled Golf Academy of America (GAA) graduate Adam Eggert, a 2004 graduate from the Phoenix campus. After graduation, Eggert became Assistant Golf Professional at Izatys Resort in Onamia, Minnesota. He currently serves as Head Golf Professional there.

The newspaper article says Eggert attributes his early success to his education at GAA and its dedicated faculty. He remembers Ed Ekis as one of his favorite teachers. The article also mentions one of Eggert's GAA career highlights: a record-setting hole-in-one on a 331-yard par four.

Eggert graduated as a scratch golfer with a Players Credential Ribbon and the Club Repair and Fitting Certificate. He is currently in the PGA PGM (Professional Golf Management) program and is near completion of Level One.

Eggert hopes to hire fellow GAA graduates for the resort's 2011 season.
