GAA's Gunby wins President's Award from PGA

John Gunby, a PGA Professional and golf instructor at Golf Academy of America in Phoenix, has won the President's Award from the PGA of America, Southwest Section.

The annual prize recognizes a PGA Professional for extraordinary and exemplary contributions and achievements in the area of player development.

In 2011, Gunby will be volunteering to serve on the National Employment Board for the PGA of America and Vice President for the Junior Golf Association of Arizona.

A Class-A PGA member since 1980, Gunby is the recipient of other golf awards including a listing in the Golf Digest Top 20 Golf Instructors in Arizona of 2007 and additional PGA Southwest Section honors.
