ECA's Crider joins board of science and engineering group

Kyle Crider was recently elected vice president of a local chapter of Scientists and Engineers for America (SEA). Crider serves as ECA's Manager of Environmental Operations and coordinates the company's sustainability efforts on the corporate level and for ECA-owned schools Ecotech Institute, Virginia College and Golf Academy of America.
SEA's mission is to encourage debate and political activity related to science policy on local and national levels. University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is the host of the chapter. Crider recently delivered a presentation to the organization's board entitled "Science through the Looking Glass: Science Policy and Politics."
In addition to his duties at ECA, Crider is a student in UAB's Interdisciplinary Engineering Ph.D. program, where he studies sustainability and climate change.
