Virginia College personnel get 'great ideas' at conference

May 2, 2011

Sixteen Virginia College instructors and administrators from 10 campuses learned methods to improve the student experience at a recent national conference of educators.

The Pacific Institute's Best Practices and Great Ideas Conference was held in Pittsburgh with 55 career college organizations attending. The highlight of the gathering for the Virginia College delegation came when Pacific Institute's founder Lou Tice (in photo, with suit and yellow tie) met with them privately for an animated conversation about enriching the student experience in the Virginia College community.
