Oct 7, 2011
Golf Academy of America (GAA), the largest and longest-running two-year golf career college in the world, announced today that it will open a fifth nationwide campus in the north Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, TX. The new campus will officially begin classes on January 4, 2012. GAA's other campuses are located in Myrtle Beach, S.C., Orlando, Fla., Phoenix, Ariz., and San Diego, Calif.
"The Dallas area is the perfect location for our next campus," said Mike Largent, president of Golf Academy of America. "With our present locations near both coasts, we needed to find an area that was a logical location for golf and to serve prospective students from the nation's heartland. Dallas is one of the largest golf markets in the country and after our exhaustive research into our next campus location, Dallas was just a natural fit."
Golf Academy of America in Dallas will be an 18,700 square foot facility with a 3,800 square foot indoor training center dedicated to golf instruction with technology including KVest, V1, Trackman, MEGSA, Dynamic Balance System, Sam Putt Lab, five hitting bays and golf simulators. The campus will also house a club fitting and repair lab, five lecture rooms, computer lab, career services center, golf library and office space.
