Gossett to lead Dallas Golf Academy of America

Greg Gossett has been appointed as the campus director of the new Dallas location of Golf Academy of America. GAA will open its fifth nationwide campus in the north Dallas suburb of Farmers Branch, TX on January 4, 2012.

"I am very excited and proud about the opportunity to lead our new campus in the Dallas area," said Gossett. "Dallas is one of the best golf markets in the country and having a campus here is a great asset for the growth of Golf Academy of America."

Gossett has over 16 years of experience in the golf industry and became a member of the PGA of America in 1997. He graduated from the Professional Golf Management program at Mississippi State University where he earned a B.B.A. in marketing and business. Gossett recently served as the director of instruction with the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail in Alabama. Other positions during his career on the RTJGT included head golf professional, director of operations and head golf instructor.

In addition, Gossett spent six years as an associate director and academic dean with Golf Academy of America.

Gossett is proficient in video analysis with Model Golf software and the V–1 coaching system and holds certificates as a Golfing Machine instructor and as a certified club fitter.
