New Florence campus opens grandly

The new Virginia College campus in Florence recently held its grand opening and ribbon cutting. Campus President Pete Slade welcomed more than 200 guests to the event, which also served as an open house for the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.

Guests enjoyed catering by Culinard Catering and program demonstrations in career programs including Medical Assisting, Medical Billing and Coding, Pharmacy Technology, Business and Network Engineering. The school's Cosmetology salon served as the main reception area.
