Mar 12, 2013
With leadership from Admissions Associates Margie McCloy and Thomas Warner, Virginia College students, faculty and staff marched in the recent Pensacola Mardi Gras parade.
The event was attended by over 15,000 people and provided a unique opportunity for to showcase school spirit and programs offered.
The lead vehicle—which was decorated with a giant mortar board, bunting and balloons in school colors—carried children throwing beads and Virginia College swag. Students from various programs marched in the parade wearing scrubs and other program-specific clothing.
Since the front doors of Virginia College are on the parade route, the front of the building was decorated in bunting and balloons.
