V's Student Cosmetology Services Offers Complimentary Services to Cancer Survivors June 3

SPARTANBURG, S.C. – June 2, 2014 – Virginia College in Spartanburg is proud to announce that V's Student Cosmetology Services will offer complimentary services to cancer survivors on June 3 in honor of Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day (CSBSD). CSBSD is a nationwide event where businesses in beauty or related industries offer services to men, women and children cancer survivors.

"We are excited to support those who have survived cancer on Cancer Survivor Beauty and Support Day here at V's Student Cosmetology Services," said Tori Gordon, Program Director of Cosmetology at Virginia College in Spartanburg. "All of our students and instructors are eager to volunteer their unique services and give back to the survivors."

V's offers a wide variety of services including haircuts, hairstyling, permanent hair treatments, color treatments, braiding, extensions, body care, nail care, make-up and esthetic services. Cancer survivors can book their free appointment by calling 864-504-3248 or going to the front desk of the salon, located at 8150 Warren H. Abernathy Highway in Spartanburg.

V's is a full-service, student-run retail operation that offers a wide variety of services at affordable prices. V's allows students to learn the skills and creativity they will need to be successful in their cosmetology careers. All work is performed by Virginia College cosmetology students under the direct supervision of licensed cosmetology instructors.
