New England College of Business to Attend the Annual SHRM Vermont State Conference

Burlington, VT — September 15, 2014New England College of Business, winner of the Gold Medal for Best Practices in Online Learning from the United States Distance Learning Association and a leading institution of online education designed for working adults seeking career advancement, will be attending the 14th Annual Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Vermont State Conference from September 15-16 in Burlington, Vermont. 

The Vermont SHRM State Council is dedicated to leading, educating, and inspiring HR professionals in Vermont and positively impacting other business professionals throughout the state. The conference includes presentations from a number of local and national speakers and businesses aimed to help professionals and organizations modernize HR departments to face today's business challenges. Following this year's theme, "HR Rocks," each session will feature specialized HR tips to help educate leaders on the HR strategies of tomorrow both on an individual level and for an organizational scale. The conference will also include a one-person HR shop, covering how to perform solo, healthcare topics, employee recruitment and retention, and local and federal employment law updates.
