In August, the Fort Pierce campus held staff & faculty awards. In all, Student Services Associate Sabri Hammad handed out 19 awards to staff and faculty.
Also in Fort Pierce, Allied Health Program Director Refina Legrand-Feraria asked students to take a breather for a photo during MEA 1010 as they were learning sterile techniques to avoid the spread of disease. Creating display boards themed "Disease and Virus" was their ninth week project.

In Jacksonville, Medical Assisting and Nursing students worked together to create a health fair for all Virginia College students, staff and faculty members. Various healthcare vendors from the local community were there to share information and give out free supplies.
The Pensacola campus recently held a successful awards ceremony to recognize achievements by students and faculty, including Teacher of the Quarter for spring 2014, Randolph Haire. Above, he accepts the award from Campus President Kim Coolidge.
