Culinard students and staff shine in Fort Pierce

Two students at Culinard, the Culinary Institute of Virginia College in Fort Pierce, recently found they shared more than an interest in food. Joel McBride and Zuwena Roberts tied the knot on campus surrounded by friends, fellow students and staff. As the cake says, "Love happens here."
Program Director Steven Scerenscko recently served as guest judge of the Garlic Chef Competition at the 16th annual Delray Beach Garlic Festival.
A Culinard team of students from Fort Pierce took third place at the recent Taste of Saint Lucie County event. The team was competing against 35 other entries, all of which were either country clubs or restaurants.
"We are very proud of our students and what they have accomplished the first time out," said Chef Steven Scerenscko about the honor.
