Virginia College in Pensacola Announces Grand Opening of V's Student Cosmetology Services to be Held Oct. 19

PENSACOLA, Fla. - October 12, 2015 - Virginia College in Pensacola is pleased to announce the grand opening of V's Student Cosmetology Services to be held Monday, Oct. 19 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Located at 312 E. Nine Mile Road, Suite 34, V's is a full-service, student-run retail operation that offers a wide variety of services at affordable prices.

Guests at the event will be entertained with a student fashion show featuring models wearing student hair designs and will enjoy free gift bags, hors d'oeuvres and libations, while entering to win door prizes and taking tours of the facility. Salon professionals are welcome at the event as well as potential students and their families.

"We are excited about the opening of the newest location of V's Student Cosmetology Services in Pensacola," says Kim Coolidge, campus president. "The student-instructor partnership provides an exceptional learning environment and gives the students valuable hands-on experience."

V's allows students to learn the skills and creativity they will need to be successful in their cosmetology careers. V's services will include haircuts, hairstyling, permanent hair treatments, color treatments, braiding, extensions, body care, nail care, make-up and esthetic services to the community. All work is performed by Virginia College cosmetology students under the direct supervision of licensed cosmetology instructors.

The Pensacola cosmetology retail operation brings the total number of locations to 26. Appointments can be made by calling (850) 266-2268 and walk-ins are also welcome. V's hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with limited availability on Saturdays.
The cosmetology program at Virginia College provides students with a solid background of practical hands-on training directly related to the cosmetology industry and prepares students to take the State Board of Cosmetology licensing examination.
