Chattanooga Students Serve Project Homeless

Virginia College in Chattanooga students from Cosmetology, Medical Assistant, Business Administration, MBC, and Pharmacy Tech programs recently volunteered their services and time at a local event to help those in need.

Project Homeless Connect, an annual event sponsored by Metropolitan Ministries, is a one-stop shop for homeless people in Chattanooga, providing dental care, HIV testing, clothes, food, job services and bus passes.

A favorite for many of the clients were the free manicures offered by Virginia College students.
